More Than Four Walls

There’s something deeply personal about photographing a house. It’s not just about the walls, the roof, or the layout — it’s about what the space feels like. Whether it’s a century-old farmhouse or a sleek, modern build, every home has a heartbeat. And my job, my passion, is to capture that.

When I photograph a house, I slow down. I walk through it like I’m listening. How does the light fall through the windows in the morning? What does the texture of the wood grain say about the people who’ve lived here? Every creak, every corner tells a story. My camera isn’t just documenting — it’s interpreting.

I’m drawn to the small things: the way the sun paints golden rectangles on a kitchen floor. The quiet intimacy of a reading nook tucked under the stairs. The echo of footsteps down a hallway that’s held generations. These are the details that turn a structure into a sanctuary.

To me, home photography is emotional. It’s about respect — for the design, for the memories, and for the people who call it theirs. I want every shot to feel like a whisper from the house itself: “This is who I am.”

So no, I don’t just take pictures of houses. I photograph stories, wrapped in wood, brick, and light. Those stories attract more people to want to be in that space.
